Tiger Woods Watch Out!

For my Dad's birthday, we gave him a gift certificate to play a round of golf with Zoe Madison. I was a little unsure of how this would actually work out, but we told Dad to pick a day before he goes back to work and I would let Zoe play hookie from preschool. When she wakes up most mornings, the first thing she asks about is school and she was a little upset when I told her "no school today", but then I told her we were going to play golf with Grandpa. Her eyes lit up and she said "Gampa". Golf comes out "Goss" but she was very excited despite not knowing what "goss" was. She did great helping Grandpa and might even be a his good luck charm. At the end Grandpa gave her her very own plastic clubs with the promise to bring her back out to play against him.

Happy Birthday "Gam-pa"

Just like to wish Gam-pa a Happy 59th Birthday! We just shared a very nice (with a well behaved 2y.o.) dinner with my parents for Dad's birthday. Zoe was just excited to have ice cream.

Yes, yes. Well aware of the fact that our child is in need of a haircut. Been avoiding it because she cries the entire time. Tears and snot covering her face and then add in the pieces of hair that have been trimmed off and you have quite a sight. So finally broke down and took her yesterday to a different kid salon than before thinking a change of scenery would be better luck.

She actually did pretty well. The cape sent her over the edge, so we just took it back off. She had some moments that she was calm and playful, but mostly whimpered and whined mixed in with some crying. They took 2 inches off! She is much cooler now.
