Zoe gave us all quite a scare last night. She was staying at Grammie and Grandpa’s for the weekend and had a seizure just as Grandpa was getting ready to read to her. EMS transported her to the ER and Larry and I met them there (we were both at work). They determined she has pneumonia and a fever. The seizure was a result of her fever. She had not been sick earlier so this all came on on Friday afternoon. They gave her 2 shots and 6 days worth of antibiotics. We have been alternating Motrin and Tylenol because she is at risk for another febrile (fever related) seizure if she has a spike in her temperature again. Luckily they out grow this issue around 6 years old. She felt pretty puny all day today but a 3.5 hours nap, Tylenol, Motrin, and a little Shrek made things a little better.

Busy weekends
Last weekend we went to a co-workers baby shower. Explaining why the baby needed to take a shower to a 3 year old was a challenge, but I think she has it down now. Then when we got there and she asked where the baby was and we pointed to Kim’s tummy, her eyes were like saucers. Wish I could have gotten a picture of that.
Exhausted on the way home. Skipped bath and went straight to bed that night, at 545p!
The weather was so nice this weekend, we wanted to get out a enjoy some things like a new kids exhibit at the Discovery Place and of course the parks.

Ended it with a good cheap meal at K&W, where kids eat for $0.99 on Saturdays. Entree, veggie, bread, drink, and Jell-o. Got this picture just in the nick of time because she lost her fool mind, we packed up our food, and then she was in time out on the sidewalk. Good thing she is so stinkin’ cute.
To another park the next day. Here she is driving the toy tractor there and yelling at no one in particular to “Get out of my way”.
5th Anniversary
After 5 years of marriage and 10 years together, we still like each other enough to sit this close :)
