Swim Lessons

As we approach swimming season I can’t wait to get in the pool.  I was a water child, spending all day in the water when I was a kid.  Since our neighborhood has pool and Grammie and Grandpa C have one in their yard, we really want Zoe to learn how to swim and feel cautiously comfortable in the water.  We did mommy and me lesson when she was younger but she is big girl now and they do swim lessons in groups.  It was a little adjustment for her, since she was used to and expected one of us to be in the water with her, but she is slowly getting the hang of it.   This is from the 3rd lesson, once all the crying stopped :)

Listening, well sort of, to the teacher

A Little Behind

Sorry blogger family, I have been slacking.  I am way behind in post and I am going to try to catch up in the next few days so get ready for several new posts:

I will start with the “Party Tour” as we call it.  All of Zoe’s playmates have their birthdays within a 3 month time frame, with most of them actually being within 3 weeks of each other.  One week she had 4 parties in 7 days and proclaimed, “I no like pizza anymore.  I not eat birthday cake today”, but she did of course.  Party season is almost over but here are a few pics of some of the parties she went to.  At least they were all different themes, fire house, park, art place, and construction.
