Is it really March?

We really didn’t deprive our child of Christmas in December.  We may not have celebrated it on the actual day together, as with two parents in healthcare, holidays are a little off sometimes, but she doesn’t know the different yet.  I have had on my to do list to update our blog with our Christmas pictures.

First she had her Christmas party/performance at school where her class sang Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and Jingle Bells.  I do have a short video of her, it looks like an earthquake is happening due to me laughing so hard at how stinking cute they looked.  I have a few pictures but they do not do it justice.

We drove up to PA for early celebrations the weekend before Christmas.  Zoe was really into Santa this year and has been waiting so patiently for him to come.  She had fun playing with her cousins, making gingerbread men, and of course opening presents.

And then there was the celebration here, of course.  She wrote her first letter to Santa (with me transcribing).

And then it snowed the day after Christmas here, in NC!  She begged to bundle up and go ride her new bike.  That lasted about 15 minutes, but she had fun!
